Filson Black Label FW 2012 Bags
We hit on the recently launched Filson Black FW 2012 apparel in the last post. So without further adieu, here are the bags that coincide with the aforementioned label.
We’ve always loved Filson’s tool bags and heavy duty canvas packs but I tell ya’, I’m warming up to these denim jobbies. Definitely watch for more to come, from this line of gourmet work wear.
Filson Black Label FW 2012.
Dropping a “black label” seems de rigueur these days, when looking to up the ante and likely the price of your brand. Hence, Filson has just unveiled its Filson Black FW 2012 apparel. (In North America it is simply called Filson Black. In Europe it’s Filson Black Label).
This top shelf line comes from the mind of Richard Chai and is tasteful update to some familiar American pieces. Lots of waxed cotton, hearty wools and some serious, make-your-pals-jealous linings going on here. So we suggest you get to that jealous making and hunt down some Filson Black in your area. Available now(ish?)
A.P.C. Limited Edition Anniversary Hoodie
A.P.C. is 25 years old? How ‘bout that. In so, the Parisian masters of simplicity have come up with this Anniversary sweatshirt bearing the year that label founder, Jean Touitou kicked things off.
Regularly criticized for it’s wildly expensive, yet very minimalist concepts, I’ve realised with A.P.C., one needs to ask themselves this: “I know these are simple but where else can I find jeans this well cut, with NOTHING on the pockets.” Likewise, where can you find a classic hoodie without a bulky front pouch, (not to mention, the stunning fold in the hood).
This won’t be cheap but focus on the small details.
Adidas Originals Euro Cup 2012 Shirts
Personally, I’m not usually one for team kits in the daily rotation, but these recently unveiled Euro Cup jerseys from Adidas Originals are possibly going to change all that. A heavy retro vibe runs through the collection. What’s more, each set contains a shirt, warm-up top and windbreaker, celebrating the likes of France, England, Poland and Germany.
Two points of notice for us, are the throwback numbers on the England and the long sleeved German top. Must view these in the flesh for final analysis but we officially like what we see.
Ribbens ‘Denny Jacket’
We love a nice wind breaker… we love the Beach Boys. England’s start up label Ribbens have, pulled together both passions in the form of this ‘Denny Jacket.’ Denny refers to Dennis Wilson of all people. Those truly in the BB know, understand why Dennis gets the Wilson brood props from Ribbens- the hippest member, by miles.
Partners, Richard Deeney and Emily Naismith apparently draw their outerwear inspiration from, “great music, artists, bands, actors, films, plays, books, wars and art movements,” which certainly explains the depth of the “Denny” reference.
And with that, we will definitely be on the lookout for more treats from these new kids on the scene.

Like T.O. New York is all over the 90s right now. It was crazy walking into hip boutiques and hearing Smashing Pumpkins and straight up, Alice In Chains, no joke.
